A hardcopy form will be handed to you when you arrive at school if you choose not to use the internet to complete the survey. If you are filling out a paper form at school, you will be required to submit your temperature.
Every STUDENT who enters the building on a daily basis is subject to a daily health screening procedure. Our kids must SCAN the Bar Code or CLICK the LINK BELOW each morning before entering IS34 and answering the questions confirming that they are ready to enter the school building before entering the facility.
Over the following several days (in preparation for our return on October 1st), our team will release a series of Tutorial Videos that will walk you through the process of filling out the application. As soon as it is deployed, symptom screening will be used to identify persons who may be suffering from COVID-19 symptoms.
Following that, such individuals are barred from entering a location in order to limit the danger of propagating the virus that causes COVID-19. Examining merely one symptom of COVID-19 (for example, taking daily temperature readings to test for fever) to evaluating for multiple or all known COVID-19 symptoms are all possible methods of doing screenings.
In terms of COVID-19 symptom screening, there is no one technique that is appropriate for all populations or situations. Additionally, there are limits and obstacles associated with employing symptom screening in general, and specifically with using it as part of a school reopening plan.
Currently, there is little information available on the usefulness of COVID-19 symptom screening in schools. Symptom screening that evaluated for all known COVID-19 symptoms and was conducted by health professionals in a hospital setting failed to identify nearly half (45 percent) of all pediatric patients infected with the virus that causes COVID-19, and 40 percent of those with COVID-19 symptoms did not have the virus that causes it, according to a recent study.
It is necessary for each student to have a valid email address in order to complete the Health Screening properly. ALL TOTTEN STUDENTS MUST use or her @is34.org email address as their main email address while completing the Health Screening Form. All DOE workers, students, families, and guests who want to attend DOE buildings must first undergo a health test before entering the building or building complex.
It is necessary to complete this health test on each of the days of arrival, and the results will be reset at midnight on each of the days of arrival. When you arrive at the facility, you will be requested to present the results of your test, which may be done either by displaying your phone or by printing out the findings of your screening.
