Ryan Seacrest Dad – Ryan has been dubbed “Hollywood’s most diligent worker” by the media. He is involved in various initiatives concurrently, yet this does not hinder him from spending time with his family members – his father, mother, and sister. Ryan said in one of his Instagram posts about his father, “This guy taught him the value of a well-tailored suit and many other things.” Gary Lee Seacrest is both a role model and an admirer of his son.
Gary Lee Seacrest was the son of US Army General Henry Skeen. He was born and raised in Alabama. Gary aspired to follow in his father’s footsteps and pursue a career in the military. He was a graduate of Officer Candidate School and was on route to West Berlin. He attended a dance party with his old school buddy Constance just before his departure to Germany. Gary proposed to her instantly.
Gary was self-employed as a real estate attorney. He was married to the same lady for many years – Constance, who was the mother of his children. “Ryan and Shayna peacefully ended their love connection many months ago,” his spokesperson told People at the time. “They remain close friends, each other’s staunchest supporters, and will always appreciate their time as a couple.”
Shayna, 28, was introduced to the E! News audience in 2013. Ryan dated the professional model for almost a year before calling it to quit in 2014. The former couple renewed their romance and gave their relationship another chance in 2017 when they relocated to New York City together. After the second breakup in February 2019, they reconciled in September of the same year.
They were deported to Germany for two years but returned and lived in Alabama, Georgia. Gary resigned from the service and began a career as a real estate attorney. They had two children, one of them, Ryan, became a world-famous television presenter.
Along with his heartfelt letter, Ryan included many inspirational photos of himself with his father, mother, Connie Seacrest, and sister, Meredith Seacrest. Flora, the American Idol host’s beautiful niece, was also included in one of the photos.
Despite his busy Hollywood job, Ryan is the kind of guy who makes time for his family. Apart from commemorating Gary’s birthday, the presenter of “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” offered a heartfelt nod to his parents as they approached their 50th wedding anniversary in February 2020.
