Tim Donnelly ActorTimothy David Donnelly was born on September 3, 1944, in Los Angeles County, California, USA. He is the younger brother of Dennis Donnelly, Jack Webb’s stock director. Donnelly was a small business owner before his November 2010 election to the Assembly. He is now a resident of Twin Peaks, California.

On January 22, 2013, Donnelly declared his desire to run for California as a Republican in the 2014 election. He finished third in the open primary, behind incumbent Governor Jerry Brown and investment banker Neel Kashkari, who ran for the November 2014 election.

He appeared in various supporting parts in Webb-produced programs from the late 1960s and early 1970s, including Dragnet 1967-1970 and numerous roles in Adam-12. In late 1971, Webb cast Donnelly as the wisecracking Firefighter Chester B. “Chet” Kelly in the Mark VII television series Emergency!

Following the termination of Emergency! in 1978, he featured in some other programs not created by Mark VII. He appeared in episodes of television shows such as Vega$, Hawaii Five-O, The Virginian, B. J. and the Bear, Enos, and The A-Team featured in films such as The Toolbox Murders (1978) and The Clonus Horror (1979).

Donnelly appeared in minor episodes of Webb-produced programs throughout the late 1960s and early 1970s, including Dragnet 1967-1970 and numerous roles in Adam-12. In late 1971, Webb cast Donnelly as the wisecracking Firefighter Chester B. “Chet” Kelly in the Mark VII television series Emergency!
